The manufacturing process of polypropylene (PP) absorbent is to first obtain melt blown polypropylene fiber and non-woven fabric, and then make various forms of absorbent pads, absorbent rolls, absorbent pillows, absorbent socks.
Absorbent pad is also called as industrial absorbent pad. According to the characteristics of absorbent materials, it can be divided into oil only absorbent pads, universal absorbent pads and chemical absorbent pads.
After dehydration and deoiling, oil only absorbent pads can only absorb oil but not water. It is specially suitable for absorbing petroleum hydrocarbons, hydrocarbons, etc. (such as petroleum, gasoline, lubricating oil, paint, etc.)
This kind of product does not absorb water when it is used on the water surface. After saturation, it floats on the water. It can absorb 10-15 times of its own weight. Oil absorbent pad is usually white. It can be used for the treatment of mechanical oil pollution, drainage ditch oil pollution, warehouse and wharf oil pollution, river oil pollution, etc., to keep the working environment clean, and prevent explosion accidents caused by oil and gas volatilization.
After dehydration, deoiling and addition of surfactant, the universal absorbent pads can absorb both oil and water by adding other fibers on this basis, which can be used for mechanical maintenance, automobile maintenance and oil-water treatment in factories and workshops. It is applicable to oil, water, coolant, solvent, pigment, dye and other unknown liquids. Universal absorbent pad is usually gray.
Chemical absorbent pads can resist strong acid and alkali by dehydration and deoiling after adding surfactant. It is suitable for adsorption of acid, corrosive and other chemical liquids and chemical oils, and for leakage treatment of acid, corrosive and other hazardous liquids. Chemical absorbent pad is usually yellow. The polypropylene material will not decompose after contacting with the irritant or corrosive chemical liquid, and the bright yellow color is still very eye-catching to prevent misuse and theft. The absorbent pads can also absorb petroleum liquids and aqueous solutions.
