The purpose of using FFP2 is to prevent or reduce the dust in the air entering the human respiratory organs to protect the personal protective equipment for life safety.
The materials used in FFP2, anti-particulate masks are mostly made of two layers of non-woven fabrics inside and outside, and a layer of filter cloth (meltblown cloth) in the middle.
